Horse Riding Holidays for Mixed Groups

Dreaming of a South American horse riding holiday but not everyone in your group rides? No problem. Many of our favourite stays are perfect for mixed groups of riders and non riders, allowing everyone to enjoy an unforgettable adventure together.

While we love sharing the magic of exploring South America on horseback, we know that not everyone wants to spend every day in the saddle. Whether you are travelling with a partner, family or a group of friends with different interests, there is no need to compromise on your dream holiday. Our estancia stays and cultural riding experiences offer plenty of opportunities for everyone to create their own perfect itinerary.

Traditional estancias are especially well suited to mixed groups, with flexible schedules and a wide range of activities beyond riding. While some guests head out on horseback to explore the countryside, others can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, fishing, wildlife spotting, cooking experiences, wine tasting or simply relaxing and soaking up the peaceful rhythm of ranch life.

In Argentina, you might spend the morning riding with gauchos across open grasslands while others explore local villages, enjoy a traditional asado or discover the region’s famous wines. In Chile and Patagonia, non riders can join in with hiking adventures, photography, nature walks and cultural experiences while riders explore some of the world’s most spectacular landscapes on horseback.

The beauty of South America is that every destination offers something different. From food and wine experiences to outdoor adventures and authentic cultural encounters, we can help create a holiday where everyone feels included, whether they are happiest in the saddle or enjoying the many experiences waiting beyond it.

Our team can help you choose the perfect horse riding holiday for your group, ensuring riders and non riders return home with incredible memories of their South American adventure.
